APPC - AIP Congress 2016
Call for Abstracts now open.

You are invited to submit an abstract for the APPC - AIP Congress 2016 , to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland, from 4 - 8 December 2016.

You can submit an abstract for the following:
Oral Presentation
Poster Presentation

Oral Presentation
15 minute oral concurrent presentation. 10 minute presentation with 5 minutes questions time. The majority of oral presentations should be targeted at a general physics audience, and the work put in context.

Poster Presentation
Three poster sessions will be held, and will comprise a core part of the Congress program. Two of the poster sessions will be at lunch time and a light lunch provided, this arrangement should maximise opportunities to discuss new results in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.

Your abstract should fall into one of the following Congress topics:
Atomic and molecular physics
Condensed matter and materials
Nuclear and particle physics
Physics education
Quantum information, concepts and coherence
Biophysics and medical physics
Solar terrestrial and space physics
Theoretical physics
Women in physics
Optics, photonics and laser physics
Plasma physics
Geophysics
Astronomy
Acoustics and music
Relativity and Gravitation
Synchrotron science
Complex systems, computational and mathematical physics
Industrial physics and applications

Abstract submissions will be accepted online until 5.00pm AEST Monday 4 July 2016. All abstracts must be uploaded and all changes finalised by this date.
Notification of acceptance: Authors will be notified via email from the end of August 2016.
