- The National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) will host the 3rd AOF (Asia Oceania Forum) Synchrotron Radiation School later this year. This is to announce the start of the student selection for 3rd AOFSRR School. The school will be held at the Research Building, NSRRC in Hsinchu, Taiwan during the week of the 3rd of November to the 9th of November, 2019. The school is aimed at science and engineering graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers from across the Asia-Oceania region who are interested in pursuing a career in synchrotron radiation-related fields. Students will be selected from across the region to attend this in-depth school on all things synchrotron-related. This school will present a range of lectures and practical sessions relating to the theory and applications of synchrotron radiation to a wide range of science and technology research. - Malaysia is allowed to send 2 postgraduates, prefer from basic and applied sciences, engineering materials, bio-medical. The AOFSRR and the NSRRC will cover the local costs, which including food, accommodation and airport transfers, but students have to find their own travel fund.
